Here is a list of some of the most haunted places from around the world that will definitely excite your curiosity and you may even find yourself somewhat frightened.

This 12th century castle once was a place that housed the crown jewels but also a residence of torture and bloodshed. Sightings of apparitions, temperature drops and the feeling of being touched have been experienced by visitors.

Ancient B&B

This B & B was built on a Pagan burial ground, that was also the scene of devil worships and child sacrifices. The Inn is said to be haunted by the likes of a murdered young girl called Rosie, a high priestess, and even a male sex demon, known as an incubus. Guest are welcome to spend the night, but many flee before sun rise.

The Haunted Vicarage

From the 20's to the 50's this vicarage resided many Priests and Chaplains and each one of them have reported paranormal activities. These activities included laundry being thrown out of windows, moving objects, ghosts and one Chaplain reported being thrown out of his chair on numerous occasions by and unseen force. Currently the building is serving as a restaurant/guest house. An "over-night-certificate" is given to anyone who stays all night.

Akershus Castle is believed to be the most haunted place in Norway. The most popular of all apprations is the demon dog named Malcanisen that’s said to guard the gates to the castle. Legend says that anyone that is approached by Malcanisen is sentenced to a horrible death sometime in the following three months.

French Château

 The current residents, Duke of Brissac and his family have become accustomed to the roaming of La Dame Verte or "Green Lady" who was part of a double murder that occurred sometime in the 15th century . She is often seen in the tower room. If she looks at you, you’ll see that her face has gaping holes were her eyes and nose should be, resembling what a corpse would look like.

Mary Kings close is an underground warren of streets and dwellings. In 1645 the close was believed to have been abandoned after an outbreak of the plague. Since the 17th century there have been reports of patients who died in the close roaming the halls.

Haunted Lighthouse

 Don Santana was haunted when he found a body of a drowned child in a canal about fifty years ago. In order to find peace again, he would pick every doll that he saw floating in the canal and hang it on a tree to please the soul of the unfortunate girl. Don drowned in the canal just like the little girl in 2001.

Waverly Hills served as a tuberculosis hospital throughout the early to mid 20th Century. The Geode Hoop (Castle of Good Hope)

The castle contains an infamous dungeon known as the dark hole where visitors have heard screaming. This chamber was used to torture prisoners and many drownings occurred during winter floods, as prisoners were chained to the dungeons walls.
