Here is a list of some amazing professional basketball players who at one time had the world in their hands. Then after their careers ended they all started to lose lots of money and became bankrupt. These former NBA stars are now in bad shape and I hope this serves a lesson to any current players to be smart with their money. The bottom line here is save your money!

This was true for Antoine Walker ,signing a $110 million contract during his time in the NBA, this amount of money should be enough for one man to live off of. Not Walker ,having to declare bankruptcy in 2009, he was arrested in Las Vegas for Writing fraudulent checks to a casino.

Scottie Pippen is a legend in the NBA, to this day he has a dunking dynasty. Pippen has earned up to $120 million in his career, this massive amount of money was not enough for his expensive lifestyle. It was his love for motorcycles that left his leg shattered and him at deaths door, after a horrific accident.
