Saul Saks was the creator of the show Bewitched. Saks revealed that his inspiration for making the sitcom came from watching two different romantic comedies. the first was a movie called I Married a Witch, the second was called Bell, Book and Candle.

Alice Pearce was the first actress to play the role of Gladys Kravitz. She disappeared from the show when she passed away in March 1966 from ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed with having cancer only four months after landing the role of the show.

However the spin-off did not feature the same actress who played Tabitha as in Bewitched. Due to this fact fans did not appreciate or come to like the show as much as they did Bewitched so the spin-off did not work.

David White play the role of Larry Tate on Bewitched. White was born in Denver Colorado on April 4, 1916 and passed away at the age of 74 on November 27, 1990. He got to live a full life having been a World War 2 veteran and an actor on one of the most famous TV comedy sitcoms of all time.

What you may not have known is that the theme song originally did have lyrics which was a variation of the commercial jingle known as See the USA in Your Chevrolet. Evans was a British-American actor who is noted for his interpretations of Shakespearean characters. The return of Darrin. After Dick York departed from the show it was not until 14 episodes that the role of Daren was reprised by Dick Sargent. Fans were taken aback as it was the first time different actors played the same role for the same show.

Interesting enough Dick Sargent was offered the role of Darrin prior to Dick York, but he was busy with another project when he was asked. Sergeant did end up playing the role of Darren anyways after York was forced to quit due to back problems. Seems as though Dick Sargent was destined to play the role of Darrin.

Dick York was able to bring an aspect to the role of Daren that gave him many fans and a lot of popularity. Many of his fans are extremely disappointed when he was replaced.
