The Bowery Ballroom is a venue located in Manhattan, New York. The structure was built in 1929 and was used for a high-end retail store, after about 40 years the structure was vacant. It was bought in 1998 and turned into a concert hall, a lot of rock and punk bands played here when it first opened. This is a great venue for a more personal experience.
The 9:30 Club was a popular music hall in Washington D.C. that was built in the early 1980's. There was mostly alternative music being played at first but then local bands starting playing punk, hardcore and go-go. It was then turned into a nightclub in 1996 and saw much fame after. They had the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice in Chains, Jimmy Eat World and many other bands play at their amazing venue.
This is the Fillmore which is located in San Francisco, it was put on the spotlight by famous music promoter Bill Graham during the 1960's. This venue is famous for having rock bands here during the late 70's, like the B-52's and the Ramones. Paul McCartney placed here recently in 2014 and is used all year by many different artists.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
This is an amazing concert venue and by far the best looking out there. This is Red Rocks which is located in Denver, Colorado. This location has been used since the early 1900's due to it's natural formation, this is designed for sound to travel up the hill. Many famous bands played and still play like The Beatles, U2, The Grateful Dead, Rush and many more, all types of music is played here.
The Tabernacle is a famous music hall that is in Atlanta, Georgia. Formally a Baptist Church, this was converted to a House of Blues in 1996. Many artists played here like The Blues Brothers and Johnny Cash, the House of Blues only lasted a year but then was bought by the Tabernacle owners. This is a medium sized venue that can fit up to 2,600 people comfortably.
Locally know as the Mainroom, this is the First Avenue which is two music venues in the same location. It was opened during the 80's as a dance club artists such as Prince played here and recorded scenes from music videos. During the 90's, house and trance started getting popular and DJ's loved playing at this venue. Now the venue houses the newest and most popular music and still gets a good crowd.
Located in Las Vegas, The Joint can fit up to 4,000 people and you can get a great seat anywhere because the furthest distance from the stage is a 150 feet. This venue is housed in the Hard Rock Casino. This is one of the best places to see your favorite band because you can get the great views and get to party in Vegas right after.
The Electric Factory is located in Philadelphia and has a capacity of 3,000. It was opened in 1994, ever since it has gained in popularity in America. Many different types of music is played here from Nas to Fall Out Boy, you will always get someone exciting.
The Beacon Theatre is located in Madison Square Garden, New York. This can house up to 2,800 people and is one of the most elegant looking venues out there. This was open in 1929, used mostly for theaters and operas. All of the big artists come to the Beacon Theatre if they are going to play in New York.
The Wiltern is a great out style music theater that is located in the heart of Los Angeles. This was opened in 1931, being the tallest building in LA until the 1950's, this was the spot light for anyone who wanted to perform. During the 80's this venue had nothing but rock n roll bands playing here, today rock and EDM music is played here.
House of Blues of Hollywood
The House of Blues in Hollywood is a great venue to see any band that you want to get a good view of. This small building can hold up to 1,000 people and has a couple of bars inside too. Many legendary artists have played here throughout the 20 years it was been open.
This is one of the smallest venues out there but by far the coolest, SOB's is one of the largest know hip-hop venues in New York. Sounds of Brazil opened in the 80's and was a great place to go dancing. During the 90's a big wave of hip-hop came over the city and this venue blew up. Nowadays people like Kidd Cudi and Kanye West have preformed here.
Shoreline Amphitheatre is located in Mountain View, California. This is a massive venue that can seat up to 22,500 people. This was designed as an inspiration by The Greatful Dead, many music festivals have been held here since its opening in 1986. The biggest bands and artist play here, also orchestras and symphonies play here as well.
Being able to house up to 1,500 people, Webster Hall is a great venue that has been up since 50's and has given New York great music. There are four levels to the main room making this a great place to see anyone. Many famous artists have played here and still to this day. This is one of the older venues out there but is full of history.
Radio City Music Hall
This amazing looking venue is called the Radio City Music Hall. You get memorized by the beautiful lights around the center stage when you arrive here in New York City. 40 Watt Club
The 40 Watt Club is located in Athens, Georgia and can hold up to 500 people. Many punk and new wave bands emerged from this club during the 80's making this a popular venue then. Many bands play here nowadays like Snoop Dogg, The Killers and Gnarls Barkley.
El Rey Theatre
The El Rey Theatre has a capacity of almost 800 people and is located in Los Angeles. This is one of the first art deco theaters on the Miracle Mile. This is great venue to see small bands and comedy shows. People say that this place has a very magical feel that sets the mood for any band that is playing.
This is probably one of the best concert venues out there, Gorge Amphitheatre can fir up to 23,000 people on their grounds. Behind you can see the Columbia River and Columbia gorge canyon which is a beautiful sight to see while watching your favorite band. This is located in Quincy, Washington and has been a spot light for music for many years. Events like Ozzfest and Warped Tour are always hosted here when they are around.
